New Road by Bike
This half-day city cycling adventure explores the maze of small streets and hidden alleyways that trace Bangkok’s Charoenkrung Road (‘New Road’) from the Oriental Hotel to the Grand Palace, avoiding much of the hustle and bustle of the modern city. We’ll cycle leisurely up the riverside through the European heritage neighbourhood, historic temples, Chinatown and traditional markets to Rattanakosin Island, skirting the Grand Palace and Wat Pho as we go. We’ll head back in time, making many stops, discovering and learning about the old buildings and businesses that were here when the ‘New Road’ was first built, before enjoying a well deserved lunch at one of our favorite Thai restaurants and then taking a scenic private longtail boat ride back downriver to the hotel.
This experience is priced at THB 8,700* per person with a minimum of 2 people per booking. This includes an English-speaking guide, lunch, snacks and drinking water.
