Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur has been a recipient of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Green Hotel Award by the ASEAN Tourism Forum every year since 2014. The objective of this standard is to increase environmentally-friendly practices and energy conservation in the ASEAN accommodation industry, with a unified agreement across ASEAN Members States.

Doing the Right Thing for Our Planet

We've replaced single-use amenities with eco-friendly toiletries: Diptyque Paris for club rooms and suites, and PALATINO Hospitality for standard rooms. We've also introduced wooden key cards and glass water bottles at jogger stations. To promote sustainability, we offer EV charging stations in the parking lot and have a limousine fleet of luxury electric and hybrid cars.

Doing the Right Thing for Our Guests

At Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, we promote holistic wellbeing through not only our spa services but also by offering our guests complimentary fitness and wellness activities such as evening walks, tennis clinics, yoga and pilates, and tabata, among various other activities.

Doing the Right Thing for Our Community

Over the years, we have collaborated with organisations such as WWF, Reach Out Malaysia to support initiatives such as delivery of food to the homeless, conducting visits to welfare homes, as well as tree planting at the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia in conjunction with World Environment Day.
