For a complete retreat into nature, our resort’s botanical garden is a sanctuary of peace. Harbouring over 50 species of plants, trees, and flowers, including rhododendrons, camellias, and magnolias, it exudes tranquillity, relaxation, and privacy. The garden’s layout and materials are thoughtfully designed to recreate its original beauty, with winding walkways and lanes that embody the signature elements of Italian Neoclassical gardens.

Doing the Right Thing for Our Community

At Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como, we focus on innovative projects with environmental and social impact, championing circular economies and supporting local communities. One such initiative is Birra Piova, a beer made from unsold bread sourced from local bakeries and restaurants—a project by Conf Commercio to reduce food waste. We proudly contribute by donating leftover bread from our hotel to help create this sustainable brew.
