Dosa at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London is proud to celebrate its newly awarded Michelin star, elevating its place among London’s finest dining destinations. This immersive dining experience offers a Korean-inspired tasting menu at an intimate chef's table, where guests are invited to watch the artistry of each dish come to life. Seamlessly blending traditional Korean techniques with modern innovation, every course is thoughtfully curated to provide a culinary journey like no other.
Reserve

Named after the Korean word for “expert,” Dosa offers just 14 guests the chance to experience Chef Back’s culinary journey. Diners can closely observe the masterful preparation of sophisticated dishes in a dining room influenced by the mineral elements of the earth, with suspended sculptures designed to stimulate the senses.

Please note, Dosa has one sitting at 7pm and it is recommended to arrive at 6:45pm.

Meet The Chef

Meet The Chef

Executive Chef Jihun Kim will be overseeing Dosa in London. Chef Kim is originally from Korea, where he helped with the first Dosa restaurant in Seoul. He previously assisted with Akira Back restaurant openings in Dubai and Paris and in addition to Dosa, he will also be overseeing the other restaurants, bars, as well as all food and drink offerings, in Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, including the signature Akira Back restaurant.


Having met Chef Back years ago at the World Gourmet event, the two chefs spoke of opening restaurants together and establishing something new and creative in the world of fine dining for Korean cuisine, which has never been done before. “After all of these years working with Chef Back, it is my honour to open Dosa in London and bring his vision to life for a dining experience that is unmatched.” comments Chef Kim.


Chef Back shared his enthusiasm, stating, “I am thrilled to have Chef Kim lead Dosa in London. His exceptional talent and passion for Korean cuisine perfectly aligns with our vision to create an extraordinary culinary experience.”
