Bringing more than 30 years’ experience as a hair stylist, colour technician and trainer in some of the most famous hair salons around the world, the Mandarin Barber welcomes a new Head Master Barber, Mauro Manocchio. Highly skilled in haircuts, shaves, beard design, moustache and beard trimming, Mauro will elevate current hairstyles and trends.

He was a Stylist for 23 years prior to joinning The Mandarin Barber, in 2011 where he joined. He was certified by the British Barber Association in 2014 as a Master Barber. Larry loves running, hiking and table tennis.

An experienced professional barber over a decade , providing diverse gentleman’s haircuts and a variety of grooming services.

Shui spent his time in United States of America for more than 25 years in the hair industry before moving back to Hong Kong and immediately joined the The Mandarin Barber to enhance his skills where he can perform shaving as well.

Shui was an advertisement model during his teenage years. He spends his time in the Gym as part of his wellness.

From humble beginnings in Nepal, Chandra moved to Hong Kong and became a spa attendant at Mandarin Spa while studying to become a stylist. Gaining his full qualification in 2011, he was promoted to Barber in 2015. Chandra is passionate about photography.

Kelly is the first ever Lady Barber in The Mandarin Barber and she has been with us for 10 years where she learned her shaving skills from British Barber Association.

She offers beard trimming, wet shave and traditional hair cutting.

Snowman found herself interested in doing makeup or hair styling when she was 16 years old. She has gained knowledge and expertise in hair cutting, with 10 years of experience since then.

Rick’s desire for Men’s Hair cutting started when he was 17 years old. He was inspired from the fashion magazine, Music Video from overseas seeing men’s hairstyle.

Rick likes perfection and hair cutting for him is an art.

The newest member of The Mandarin Barber, Ray learned his techniques in Manchester in 2005, and has been working in the hair Industry for 18 years. Ray is a fan of Arts & Fashion, ensuring that he dresses well and presents himself in a gentleman and fashionable manner.

Joining Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong in 2007, Ben Cheung is the resident pedicurist at The Mandarin Barber. He studied this technically skilled craft from his uncle who was also a Shanghainese pedicurist, and has given more than 40,000 pedicures over the past 25 years. He uses traditional equipment – a set of scalpels – to prevent and repair a range of foot problems including in-grown toenails, corns, calluses and verrucas.

Ben addresses every guest with notable care and remarkable efficiency, and in Chinese medicine, well-being of the feet is highly regarded since it has many stress-points in acupuncture. “Feet are often neglected and need regular attention. It’s essential to have healthy feet because they are the gateway to happiness”, says Ben Cheung.
