About Our Chef

Ivan Arroyo del Castillo

Ivan Arroyo del Castillo

In charge of the kitchen at TAPAS 77 is Ivan Arroyo del Castillo, who prepares delicious tapas, paella and other Spanish dishes for diners. Ivan is originally from Mexico, learning his trade at some of the top Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain.

 

A move to China saw him study Chinese, gaining proficiency in the workplace as he became involved in various hospitality ventures that included opening Spanish restaurants, designing menus and as a fine-dining restaurant executive chef.
